I'm Rachel, and this is my (seriously, much less frequently neglected these days- I'm serious!) journal. I work as a copywriter at a 6-person marketing firm(we've doubled in size since I started!), where I write lots of promotional stuff, some of which actually sees the light of day. When I'm not working, I practice random acts of vigilante copyediting with the red sharpie tucked into my bag at all times.
I've been described as Martha Stewart's deranged stepdaughter, which is only marginally an exaggeration. I have two cats, a townhouse apartment I share with my roommate A(who has 3 cats of her own), and own nearly every piece of kitchen ephemera ever made available for purchase.
I read a lot, but still manage to feel woefully undereducated when I don't get a reference. So I'm working on reading more things that get referenced. I won't even get into how many movie references I completely miss.
And look! I have a Sitemeter! It's tracking everyone who visits after 1:34 PM on October 18, 2006. Look at me, entering...the nineties, actually. I'm so not cool.
